Roy [Amedessa]
Shell [Gideon]
Christie [Sarafina]
This RPG takes place approximately 300 years after the reign of Roald II and Shinkokami. Since then, Tortall has remained the most prominent power in the Eastern Lands and alongside with its Yamani allies, has advanced in technology and begun to explore the distant shores of the Western Reaches.
In 703 HE, King Artagan II––the last living male descendant and heir of the Conté line––died and the throne was thrust upon the head of his eldest daughter, Amedessa Elestra. Although not shy of female figures taking charge, not all in Tortall are comfortable with being ruled by a queen and some are concerned about to whom the Crown will go to next. The nobility in Corus are especially worried about the condition of Tortall as a state, under and after Amedessa's reign. If she fails to produce or choose an adequate heir, Tortall could endure a bloody revolution like that of its neighbour, Tusaine, in which the royalty and aristocracy were mercilessly executed by the common people.
While Corus basks in the concerns of the "Old World", Port Caynn is becoming well acquainted with the "New". It is a city brimming with diversity, activity and violence, welcoming pirates and foreigners, traders and gangsters, the Rogue and the Shang.

The New Palace (4 sub-boards) The New Palace is the residence of the Queen, visiting ambassadors and residing nobility. Where it lacks the primeval, robust strength of the Old Palace's architecture, it makes up for in elegance and extravagance.
The Old Palace (9 sub-boards) The Old Palace has not been allowed to fall into disrepair since the construction of the New Palace. It was rennovated to entirely and more sufficiently accomodate the Queen's Riders, idle knights, squires and pages.

Abelin Square (2 sub-boards) Abelin Square is in the heart of Corus, a bright plaza that is always bustling with activity. There are numerous shops and cafés in the vicinity, and acting troupes are continually putting on plays for their fellow Corusians. On very special occassions, the Queen herself will entertain her subjects at Abelin by lending an ear to their problems and injustices. Festivals honouring the gods (among other things) are held here and stretch down the lane leading to the Temple District.
Royal Forest The Royal Forest is reserved solely for use by the Royal Family and the nobility. Pages (and sometimes mages-in-training) are allowed to venture into the Forest only with permission.

Port Caynn
Port Caynn Harbour (3 sub-boards) The Harbour of Port Caynn is continually bustling with activity, day and night. Ships from all over the Eastern Realms put into port here with their goods––legal or contraband. Smugglers looking to sell their goods must sneak them into the Inner City's Switchwicket Market.
Old Fortress (4 sub-boards) The Old Fortress is over over four hundred years old and is still used to defend Port Caynn from any possible attackers. More recently it has become the roost of the Royal Armada and Royal Naval Acadamy, who are slow at work renovating and adding on to the massive fortress. In the vicinity of the Old Fortress are beaches which are open to both navymen and Port Caynners.
The Residence The Residence of the Prince and Princess is situated in the wealthier part of Port Caynn, a massive manor with several city blocks' worth of grounds. From its westward windows, those inside have a clear view of the harbour below.
Inner City (2 sub-boards) The Inner City of Corus mainly consists of its burgeois citizens––neatly kept lanes with prim townhouses. On the fringes of the Inner City are the lower class neighbourhoods.
Keepsakes (4 sub-boards) On the slummier side of the Harbour is a place known to Port Caynners as "Keepsakes". It's a very shifty part of town and it's not uncommon for someone to turn up dead there every once in a while...

Monologues Here's where you post all that pent-up characterization. This is also a good place to post past events in your character's life––like that memory of when he/she got mugged leaving the Skipper's Bazaar...
